How we build websites

We start with what the site is for. Most business websites underperform not because they look wrong but because nobody agreed what a visitor is supposed to do — so the site tries to do everything and does none of it clearly.

Design and build happen in-house. You deal with the people doing the work rather than an account manager relaying messages, and you see it taking shape rather than being presented with a finished thing you have to react to.

Sites are built to be looked after. That means a content management system you can actually use, so routine changes don't require us, and a structure that can grow without being rebuilt in two years.

We handle domains, hosting, SSL certificates, updates and security patching afterwards. A website is not finished at launch — it's the point at which it starts needing attention, and an unmaintained site becomes a liability faster than most people expect.

Is Microsoft 365 not already backed up?

Not in the sense most people mean. Microsoft keeps it available, so you are unlikely to lose mail to a hardware failure. Deletion is the real risk: a cleared mailbox, a leaver, a compromised account, and the built-in retention windows are shorter than people assume. A separate backup covers that gap.

Our email keeps going into people’s spam. Can you fix that?

Usually. It is most often missing or incorrect authentication records on your domain, which is a fixable configuration problem rather than something wrong with your mail itself. It is worth checking even if you are not moving provider.

Can we keep our existing addresses?

Yes. Your email is on your own domain, so the addresses stay the same regardless of who hosts the mailboxes. Nothing needs re-printing.

Will we lose any email during a migration?

The history is copied across before the cutover rather than after, so it is already in the new system when mail starts arriving there. What we will not do is promise a migration is risk-free. We will tell you what the actual risks are for your setup before starting.

Yes. See Domain Management. Email and DNS are tied together closely enough that having them with one supplier removes a whole category of problem.
